The program will start with a service at 9:00 a.m., followed by a day filled with games and entertainment in the courtyard and social hall. The day will conclude with lunch bringing attendees together in fellowship and reflection as we celebrate Shakyamuni Buddha’s birthday, one of the most cherished observances in Buddhist tradition.
The festival is proudly sponsored by Kahului Hongwanji, Kahului Jodo Mission, Makawao Hongwanji, Wailuku Hongwanji, and Wailuku Jodo Mission. Members from the Lahaina Hongwanji and Lahaina Jodo Mission will also be attending the event.
